Hat & Mittens: A Weekend Workshop

Knit a matching hat and mitten set in one intensive weekend. Saturday covers the hat — casting on in the round, decreasing for the crown, and adding a simple colorwork band. Sunday tackles mittens with a thumb gusset. Great for confident beginners ready for their first project in the round.

Materials

DK or worsted-weight wool (200g main color, 50g contrast) and US 6 & 7 16-inch circular needles plus DPNs.
